Hello, the cottage was it located on the Tenterden side of railway or other known as ‘tintown’? Also there are quite a few WEBB around Tenterden … wish you luck with your search. Chris
There was a weatherboard cottage but it was pulled down and rebuilt in 1981 my father lives there now, it was the old station masters house for the railway and the Hatchers used to live there before him.
Hi James,
My dad’s family (Breeds) were in and around Tenterden for many years. If you can give me any more details about your father … date and location of birth, or the same information for his mother, I can probably help.
Hi my fathers dob is 14/08/48 I don’t no much about his mother or family. They used to live on Rolvenden Hill Road. I think there is relations called Manser. He also lived at 2 Forsham Cottages where I was born.
James … I found your dad’s birth registration and his
father was James W. Webb who
married Rosa Manser in 1937.
I found a James W. Webb, born
in 1914 at Tenterden, with mother’s maiden name Bellingham.
I’ll see what else I can find, if this interests you.
